Buachaillie – Glen Coe
I took this photo just as the moon was rising over Glen Coe, this is the warm light on the mountain. This photo was taken whilst trying to find a place to do an all night, star trail shot, which I succeeded in capturing and will be up for sale once this edition sells out.
“Observations made whilst standing in the frost… mountains can and do look at you. Mountains are made of rock… the Milky Way has looked like Colin Farrel in profile for a month now… some people drive in the dark with their interior lights on… truck drivers are more concerned with my safety than other road users… stags fight to have sex… venison is tasty… they sound a bit like pumped up cows… there used to be lots of trees here… when your right foot freezes it eventually becomes very warm… the universe is very very big and stuff falls to earth more often than you would think… digital cameras do not like to be frozen… film cameras do not care… rivers throw up a lot of spray even when running low and far away… your neck hurts if you look at the sky for to long… being bored is good for you… I see faces everywhere…“
